In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and construction tasks on commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will contribute to building, repairing, and restoring structures with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require a strong foundation in carpentry, fabrication, and construction techniques. Duties Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures such as framing, siding, roofing, drywall, doors, windows, cabinets, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Assist with remodeling projects including flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry, and water damage restoration. Conduct heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols; assist with scaffolding setup and other site logistics. Read schematics for electrical or plumbing systems; assist with fixture installation and basic electrical or plumbing tasks as needed. Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments with a solid understanding of carpentry techniques. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and safety procedures on active job sites. Ability to read work orders Knowledge of various construction disciplines including framing, roofing, siding, drywall installation, and finishing trades like painting or plastering. Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work or restoration projects is highly desirable. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights; ability to stand for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
