When our customers invite us in to restore and improve their most important investment, we want to send the best. We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our Remodel & Repair team. This is a mid-level position for a skilled tradesperson who takes craftsmanship seriously, holds themselves to a high standard, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely appreciates good work. What You Will Earn $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience Biweekly pay | Year-round, steady work — no seasonal slowdowns What We Provide Company vehicle and fuel card — no wear on your personal vehicle All tools provided — arrive ready to work, we handle the rest Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Year-round work with a company that has been growing for nearly five decades A respectful, team-first culture where skilled work is recognized and rewarded Opportunities for professional growth as we continue to expand What You Will Do Repair and replace windows, window sills, stools, and trim Install and replace baseboards and crown molding Replace studs and structural framing components as needed Patch, prime, and paint drywall (sheetrock) to a finished standard Replace floor joists and rim joists Work as directed by your Team Leader and communicate clearly on job progress Represent APS with professionalism in every customer's home What We Are Looking For Demonstrated carpentry or remodel experience — this is a mid-level position and prior hands-on experience is required Proficiency with framing, trim work, drywall, and finish carpentry Ability to read a job scope and execute to a quality standard without constant supervision Strong attention to detail — our customers notice the difference, and so do we Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., stoop, bend, and kneel for extended periods Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Dependable, honest, and team-oriented — the kind of person who takes pride in doing things right Ability to work overtime when project timelines require it At APS, we do not cut corners — and we do not want people who do.
