Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Form Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling concrete forms that shape and support poured concrete structures. Your expertise will ensure precision and quality in every project, contributing to the successful completion of commercial, residential, and renovation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse sites, utilize a wide range of carpentry skills, and be part of a team committed to excellence and safety. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct formwork for various concrete structures. Build, assemble, and install form systems using hand tools and power tools, ensuring they meet project specifications. Install rebar reinforcement within forms to provide structural integrity for concrete elements. Perform finishing tasks including plastering, caulking, trimming, and sealing forms to achieve smooth surfaces and proper alignment. Conduct heavy lifting and material handling safely to transport form materials, rebar, and other construction components on-site. Collaborate with team members on site to ensure safety protocols are followed while maintaining productivity during renovation or new construction projects. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on form carpentry or related trades. Strong mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction machinery. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of concrete forming techniques including metal stud framing, masonry, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, and roofing basics. Familiarity with rebar installation, concrete finishing processes, and concrete pumping systems. Experience with renovation projects involving restoration work or structural modifications is a plus. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards.
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
