In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision and safety at every step. Your expertise in framing, metal building erection, and concrete forming will be essential to delivering high-quality projects on time and within scope. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your carpentry skills to bring architectural visions to life with energy and dedication. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct frameworks and structures. Erect metal buildings, including framing, siding, roofing, and related components using appropriate tools and techniques. Install rebar and perform concrete forming to prepare foundations and structural elements for pouring. Execute framing tasks with precision, including wood framing, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry. Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment, safely and efficiently on-site. Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate project timelines, materials delivery, and site safety protocols. Assist in heavy lifting tasks using appropriate equipment to move materials safely around the site. Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations throughout each phase of construction. Skills Extensive experience with framing techniques, and concrete forming processes. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery. Skilled in rebar installation, and woodworking. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding construction tasks. Familiarity with construction management practices and site safety protocols. Excellent teamwork skills combined with effective communication abilities on busy job sites. Experience working with various materials including wood, concrete, and siding materials.
