Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Wood Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings using wood and other materials, ensuring precision and safety throughout each project. Your expertise in framing, carpentry, and construction management will contribute to delivering high-quality structures efficiently. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct frameworks according to specifications Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing components with precision using hand tools and power tools Erect metal building frameworks and install metal studs as required for various projects Collaborate with construction management teams to plan daily tasks and ensure project milestones are met Perform concrete forming and rebar installation to support foundational work when necessary Install siding, stucco, trim carpentry elements, roofing components, and other finishing touches to complete structures Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large framing materials or structural components Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to safety protocols and proper handling of tools and materials Requirements Proven experience in wood framing, frame carpentry, or related construction roles with a focus on residential or commercial projects Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction site safety procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Familiarity with metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, welding, roofing, siding, plastering, restoration or remodeling is highly desirable Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site Valid construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety standards and protocols Join our team as a Wood Framer and be part of a passionate crew dedicated to building excellence!
