  • $35 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Team supervision Managing carpenter teams Roof framing Residential carpentry Training Leadership Full Job Description Proteus Homes is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Framer to manage and execute all framing aspects of our residential construction projects in San Diego County, CA.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring relevant experience, a strong dedication to safety and quality, and the ability to effectively lead a framing crew.
Key Highlights Local Candidates ONLY:
We are looking for applicants who are located in the North County area(Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos) looking to be employed full time by Proteus (not a contractor).
Reliable Transportation Required:
All candidates must have reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance and timely arrival at our Factory in Vista. Pay is 25
  • $35/hr.
(Dependent on experience) Responsibilities Proteus Homes is seeking an experienced Lead Framer to oversee framing operations on residential construction projects Ability to understand structural drawings(lay out walls, floors and roof trusses accurately). Work closely with the design team on possible structural changes during the framing process.
Framing tasks:
  • Constructing prefabricated walls
  • Roofs
  • Floor systems
  • Installing sheathing, lay out walls, floors and roof trusses Crew supervision: Direct, train and motivate framing crews, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards Safety & quality: Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure work meets structural and aesthetic requirements About Us https://proteus.
