On-Site Overview Envocore is seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter to join our Building Envelope Department. This position offers hands-on training and the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction projects focused on building envelope systems. Successful candidates will begin by learning company processes and installation techniques before transitioning into field-based project work. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and contributing to high-quality construction projects in a safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install weather stripping, insulation materials, and building envelope components Install Styrofoam board, fiberglass insulation, spray foam, and window caulking systems Safely operate hand tools and power tools, including drills and miter saws Utilize ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and other elevated equipment safely Load, unload, and stage materials at job sites Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently Travel to project sites as required Requirements Must Have Valid driver's license Ability to safely use hand and power tools Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and lifts Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and computers Ability to perform physical labor in a construction environment Nice to Have 1-2 years of construction or carpentry experience OSHA 10 Certification Experience working on commercial construction projects Experience with insulation, weatherproofing, or building envelope systems Benefits Competitive hourly compensation Access to prevailing wage projects Four-day work week Professional training and development Career advancement opportunities Safety-focused work environment Supportive team culture
