Job Title:
Commercial Installer Carpenter ($25-$30/hr + Denver Metro) Job Description The Commercial Installer Carpenter will perform installation of commercial wood framing, casework, doors, hardware, and finish carpentry on new construction and tenant improvement projects across the Denver metro area. This role focuses on high-quality craftsmanship, precise measurements, and efficient installation in active and unoccupied commercial job sites. Responsibilities Install commercial casework, cabinets, doors, frames, hardware, and finish carpentry elements in new construction and renovation projects. Perform wood framing, blocking, backing installation, and layout work to support millwork and fixtures. Use hand and power tools such as drills, impact drivers, saws, levels, and laser layout tools to ensure accurate and secure installations. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation plans to complete work per project specifications. Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials to ensure proper alignment, level installation, and clean finishes. Coordinate with project teams and other trades on-site to maintain workflow and meet deadlines. Handle and transport materials safely across job sites, including stairs and large areas. Perform punch list work, adjustments, and corrections to ensure high-quality final installations. Maintain clean and organized work areas while assisting with general site prep and cleanup tasks. Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with job site safety requirements. Essential Skills 2-5 years of commercial carpentry or installation experience. Experience with finish carpentry, casework installation, and door/hardware installation. Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed installation instructions. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and installation work. Strong understanding of layout, measurements, and installation accuracy. Experience working on commercial construction sites. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with metal framing, drywall, or millwork installation is a plus. Ability to work in team environments and independently when needed. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Reliable transportation and ability to commute across Denver metro job sites. Ability to lift and carry materials and work on your feet throughout the day. Work Environment Work is performed on commercial construction job sites throughout the Denver metro area. Projects include new construction and tenant improvements in environments such as offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and industrial buildings. Job durations can range from short-term assignments to long-term projects. You will work with a crew of carpenters and installers in an active construction environment, using standard carpentry tools and equipment while maintaining safety and productivity standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
