Job Description

About us Hanford Cabinet & Woodworking is a small business in Old Saybrook, CT. We are professional, engaging and our goal is to provide our clients with exceptional products and service. Woodworker needed to assist in the production of high quality cabinetry and millwork, as well as assist with on site installation.
Responsibilities:
Follow work instructions to build items according to a customer's specifications. Work with wood of different species and densities and describe the characteristics of each. Use measuring tools and mark out items to be cut. Cut wood with appropriate woodworking equipment. Use woodworking equipment and tools; use various types of sanders. Smooth out the surface of wood with a sander or a plane. Build custom furniture. Be able to build cabinetry according to specs
