Handyman/General Carpenter. (Maintenance-Focused Role)

Position Overview:

The Handyman/General Carpenter supports the day-to-day operations of residential or commercial properties by handling hands-on, maintenance-focused tasks. This role ensures the properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained, working closely with the Property Manager to address tenant needs and maintain property standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Property Maintenance and Repairs ◦ Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work. ◦ Ensure common areas, grounds, and building exteriors are clean and well-maintained. ◦ Troubleshoot issues and resolve them efficiently or escalate them to specialized contractors. ◦ Assist in preparing the property for inspections or emergencies. 2 General Property Upkeep ◦ Handle seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, or gutter cleaning. ◦ Monitor property supplies and equipment, ensuring tools are in good working condition.

Qualifications:

5 years, hands-on experience in property maintenance, carpentry, or a similar role. Basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor. Valid driver's license (if travel between properties is required).

Work Environment:

Full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for occasional on-call hours for emergencies. Primarily on-site at one or more properties, involving outdoor and indoor work in varying conditions.- year round work. On going training and certifications.
