Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Carpenter/Painter. This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to apply their craftsmanship, technical skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. As a Carpenter/Painter, you will be instrumental in transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, surface preparation, and restoration work, ensuring quality finishes that stand the test of time. Duties Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other hand or power tools Assist with construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, siding installation, and metal stud framing as needed Perform restoration work including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and structural repairs to restore surfaces to their original condition or improve durability Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute fixture installation, door hanging, cabinetry setup, and other detailed finishing tasks Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting combined with knowledge of carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, siding work, and restoration industry practices Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders), scaffolding equipment and other construction machinery Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; capable of working independently or within a team environment
