Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and equipment. The Carpenter/Laborer will be expected to work efficiently and effectively to ensure the highest level of quality in all aspects of their work.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform carpentry tasks such as doing prehung doors, we have a accordian shutter machine to make accordion shutters, mainly millwork stuff. In the industry of doors and more. As well as other construction-related work as required.
  • Install doors, including hardwood, tile, and carpet.
  • Conduct stucco installation and repair work, ensuring a smooth and durable finish.
  • Baseboard installation ensuring proper grouting and caulking.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Understand door measurements to ensure accurate installation and repair work.
  • Work safely and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to achieve project goals.
Experience:
  • The Carpenter/Laborer should have experience in carpentry and construction, with a strong understanding of various construction methods and techniques.
  • A background in installing, and in the industry of millwork highly desirable.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans is essential for this role.
  • Applicants should have experience with various hand tools and power tools.
  • Previous experience with door, shutters and impact window installation, including is highly valued.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential for this position.
