Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter / Laborer and be a vital part of transforming spaces through skilled craftsmanship and dedicated labor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. Whether you're experienced in blueprint reading, heavy lifting, or finishing touches like fixture installation, this position provides a platform to grow your expertise while ensuring quality results on every project. Responsibilities Assist with framing, drywall installation, and structural repairs using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise construction work. Perform trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding to enhance building aesthetics and functionality. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation for foundational and structural elements. Engage in restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration. Support roofing tasks such as metal stud framing, roofing installation, and siding application while adhering to safety standards. Execute finishing tasks like flooring installation, tile laying, painting, caulking, fixture installation, and electrical or plumbing rough-ins as needed. Operate various hand tools and power tools safely for fabrication, assembly, or demolition tasks on-site. Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow while maintaining safety protocols. Follow safety guidelines at all times during construction site activities to promote a secure working environment. Experience Proven experience in construction or carpentry roles with familiarity in framing, trim carpentry, or remodeling projects. Hands-on experience with construction estimating techniques is a plus. Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for accurate project execution. Knowledge of various construction disciplines including masonry, roofing, electrical work, plumbing, and water damage restoration industry experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (if applicable), and fabrication techniques. Prior work on construction sites demonstrating safety awareness and ability to perform heavy lifting or physically demanding tasks.
