This is an entry-level role candidate search. It offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry, construction, and restoration projects. Under the guidance of an experienced carpenter you will develop essential skills while contributing to high-quality building and renovation work. This paid apprenticeship provides a fantastic opportunity to learn industry-standard techniques, operate a variety of tools, and gain valuable site experience. If you're eager to grow your craftsmanship and work on diverse projects—from framing and trim carpentry to restoration—this is the perfect role for you! Duties Assist senior carpenters with framing, door hanging, fixture installation, and siding projects, ensuring precision and safety. Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project planning and execution. Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively under supervision. Support the installation of cabinetry, flooring, tile, drywall (including plastering), stucco, and roofing components. Participate in concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and water damage restoration tasks as needed. Help with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Gain experience in construction estimating support tasks and assist with schematic interpretation for various projects. Skills Basic knowledge of construction tools including hand tools, power tools, and metal stud framing equipment. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements. Strong interest or experience in carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, framing, cabinetry, or roofing. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working at heights or on scaffolding safely. Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team. Willingness to learn new skills related to water damage restoration, mold remediation, plumbing, electrical work, or masonry. Prior construction site experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hands-on learning is essential.
