We are growing and looking for an experienced Finish Carpenter who takes pride in precision work and understands that the final details define the project.POSITION OVERVIEW
The Finish Carpenter is responsible for installing and finishing detailed woodwork and trim in commercial construction projects. This role requires strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in an active jobsite environment. This position reports to the Superintendent or Project Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install interior and exterior trim, baseboards, crown molding, door and window casings
- Hang doors and install hardware
- Install cabinets, millwork, and specialty finishes
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
- Ensure all finish work meets quality standards and project specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines
- Coordinate with other trades to maintain project timelines
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in commercial finish carpentry (Required)
- Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, methods, and materials
- Experience with high-end finishes or specialty millwork
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/blueprints
- Experience framing with metal studs
- Experience with Acoustical Ceilings
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship standards
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
