Heavy Civil Marine Construction Carpenter Job Requirements:

Two (2) or more years of carpentry experience required; with a minimum of 1 year of marine or bridge construction experience. Three (3)+ years' experience strongly preferred. Proficiency with standard carpentry tools and equipment. Knowledge of concrete form systems and structural framing methods. Ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work at heights and over water. Reliable transportation to project sites. Willingness to travel and work overtime as required by project demands. Willingness to learn BCI's methodology for efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in heavy civil, bridge, or marine construction. Knowledge of pile-supported structures. Experience working from barges and floating equipment. Crane Rigging and signaling experience.
