This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while working alongside skilled professionals. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various construction tasks, learning essential skills and techniques that are fundamental to the trade. Duties Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Participate in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation projects. Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Engage in concrete forming, plastering, siding, roofing, and flooring installation as required. Support experienced carpenters with heavy lifting and material handling on construction sites. Gain exposure to restoration work, including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fixture installation. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects while adhering to safety protocols on job sites. Experience Construction estimating and site experience Knowledge of woodworking techniques and practices Familiarity with metal stud framing, CNC operations, assembly processes, or plumbing tasks Experience in masonry, tile laying, electrical work, or construction painting Background in maintenance person services or restoration industry experience This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in carpentry while contributing to meaningful projects within a supportive team environment.
