Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Construction Framer/ACT Ceiling Tile Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for framing, installing ACT (Acoustic Ceiling Tiles), and executing a variety of construction tasks that contribute to the successful completion of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure structures are built with precision, safety, and efficiency, delivering high-quality results that meet project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills across multiple trades, and be part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence. Duties Erect metal building frameworks, including metal stud framing and structural supports for ceilings and walls Install ACT ceiling tiles accurately according to schematics and project plans, ensuring proper fit and finish Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for foundational or structural elements Execute rebar installation to reinforce concrete structures in compliance with safety standards Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely for framing, roofing, siding, and other construction activities Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes and ensure adherence to design specifications Conduct masonry work, plastering, stucco application, and trim carpentry for finishing touches on projects Manage heavy lifting tasks using appropriate tools or equipment while maintaining safety protocols Assist with remodeling, restoration projects, and siding installation to enhance building aesthetics and durability Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate workflows, ensure quality control, and meet project deadlines Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on framing, drywall installation, or ceiling tile placement Skilled in metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing, siding, and related trades Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, levels, as well as power tools required for framing and finishing work Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction management principles and safety standards on active job sites Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining attention to detail Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is a plus but not mandatory Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse crews Valid certifications in OSHA safety standards or relevant trade licenses are preferred but not required Join our team if you're passionate about building high-quality structures!
