Job Description

APH Marine Construction, LLC is seeking a dependable Marine Construction Carpenter Helper to join our growing team. This position works alongside experienced marine construction professionals assisting with seawall projects, dock construction, concrete formwork, maintenance work, and other waterfront construction projects throughout South Florida. This role is ideal for someone with carpentry, framing, formwork, or general construction experience who wants to develop their skills and build a long-term career in marine construction.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Build, set, and strip concrete forms. Assist with seawall maintenance and repair work. Perform carpentry, framing, and general construction tasks. Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately. Operate hand tools and power tools safely. Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment. Maintain clean and safe jobsites. Support foremen and crew leaders with daily project activities. Learn marine construction techniques and company standards. Qualifications Required Construction experience preferred. Carpentry, framing, or concrete formwork experience preferred. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Ability to use common hand tools and power tools. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation. Ability to work outdoors in South Florida conditions. Ability to lift and carry construction materials safely. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Preferred Carpentry or framing experience. Concrete formwork experience. Dock building or marine construction experience. Experience working around construction crews and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team. The ideal candidate has some construction experience and enjoys building things with their hands. They are dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn from experienced crew members. This position works directly with experienced marine construction personnel and offers an excellent opportunity to gain skills in carpentry, concrete formwork, seawall construction, dock building, and other specialized marine construction work.
