Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Concrete Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise, concrete carpentry work on a variety of commercial, residential, and restoration projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through expert concrete forming, finishing, and installation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your craftsmanship and technical skills while contributing to high-quality construction outcomes. Duties Construct and install concrete forms using schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate dimensions and specifications. Set up rebar reinforcement and install metal studs for structural support in concrete structures. Operate power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and hand tools safely and efficiently. Perform concrete finishing tasks, including smoothing, troweling, caulking, and sealing, to achieve the desired surface quality. Execute masonry work such as stucco, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and hardscape features. Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project requirements accurately while collaborating with team members on renovation or restoration projects. Maintain safety standards by adhering to construction site protocols and properly handling heavy lifting and equipment operation. Skills Mechanical knowledge of tools and construction materials related to concrete carpentry. Construction estimating skills for material quantities and project timelines. Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and metal stud framing. Proficiency with blueprint reading and technical drawings. Knowledge of framing carpentry, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry, welding, restoration work, and flooring or tile installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in all tasks; familiarity with construction site safety protocols is essential.
