Entry-Level Carpenter in Atlanta We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team in Atlanta. As an entry-level carpenter, you will assist experienced carpenters with building, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, such as furniture, cabinets, and buildings. Responsibilities:

• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet clients' specifications
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, chalks, and marking gauges
• Cut or shape wood using hand tools or power tools
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, and hardware
• Sand surfaces by hand or with power sanders to smooth surfaces before finishing
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
• Assist experienced carpenters with more complex tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in carpentry preferred
• Previous experience in carpentry is a plus but not required; we are also open to fresh graduates with no experience but have the willingness to learn
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Familiarity with hand-held tools such as saws, drills, chisels, hammers, etc.
• Physically fit to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:

Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.
