In this vital role, you will bring your expertise in carpentry, framing, and construction estimating to deliver exceptional craftsmanship on a variety of projects. Your hands-on experience with blueprint reading, heavy lifting, and the use of power and hand tools will ensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including remodeling, restoration, siding, roofing, and custom fabrication, all while contributing to the transformation of spaces with precision and professionalism. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks. Perform framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, stucco application, and siding installation with attention to detail. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as caulking, fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry. Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, plumbing rough-ins, electrical wiring setups, and roofing projects as required. Assist with water damage restoration efforts by performing mold remediation, plastering, water damage repairs, and general restoration duties. Fabricate custom components in the shop or on-site using CNC machines or other fabrication tools when necessary. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to project timelines and specifications. Assist in remodeling projects by installing fixtures, cabinetry, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, and painting. Support heavy lifting tasks using appropriate techniques or equipment to ensure safety during material handling. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, or related fields within the construction or restoration industry. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for various construction disciplines. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, saws, grinders; and heavy machinery when applicable. Hands-on experience with concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, roofing systems, siding applications, plumbing rough-ins & electrical wiring is highly desirable. Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques including mold remediation and plastering is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout each phase of construction or restoration projects. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
