Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. As a key contributor, you will perform hands-on carpentry tasks, assist with various construction activities, and ensure that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about craftsmanship, eager to develop their skills, and committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install building components using hand tools and power tools, including framing, siding, cabinetry, and fixture installation Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks as needed Perform demolition, restoration, mold remediation, water damage restoration, and other repair activities with precision Handle heavy lifting and material fabrication safely while maintaining a clean and organized work site Install doors, windows, drywall (including plastering), stucco finishes, flooring, tile laying, and other interior/exterior features Support plumbing, electrical work, metal stud framing, CNC fabrication processes, and water damage restoration projects as required Skills Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders) for various carpentry tasks Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and blueprint reading for accurate project execution Experience with trim carpentry, framing carpentry (woodworking), siding installation, roofing techniques, and fixture hanging Knowledge of schematics for electrical or plumbing systems; ability to interpret technical drawings Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining endurance throughout long shifts Skilled in caulking, stucco application, drywall finishing (plastering), metal stud framing, CNC assembly and fabrication processes This role requires a proactive attitude combined with technical expertise across multiple facets of construction.
