https://greathouseatlanta.com/careers/ ROLE We are seeking a motivated and experienced Carpenter to join our residential remodeling team. This role is ideal for someone with a degree or background in residential construction or remodeling who is eager to grow their skills in a hands-on environment. In this role, you will work closely with experienced designers, project managers, and construction professionals to execute remodels based on our team's design and construction documents. You'll gain exposure to the full remodeling process — from demo, foundations, framing, and exteriors to interior finishes, trim carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, and specialty trades.

Job Responsibilities This is a working position on the job and qualified candidates must be proficient with most aspects of remodeling trades and use of tools Carry out carpentry duties as assigned to you by the lead carpenter or Construction Project Manager with minimal supervision, including but not limited to cabinetry construction and millwork, trim carpentry, job site prep, demolition, trim carpentry, light framing, cabinet, door, and window installation, and job site cleanup Maintain customer satisfaction throughout the project within the means of the construction contract. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a lead carpenter or field supervisor position over time, as we are always looking to provide training and growth opportunities for our employees. Job Qualifications Minimum two years of experience in residential construction or trim carpentry Superior knowledge of construction methods and techniques A team player and excellent, professional communicator Interact and communicate well with your crew, subcontractors, and the client Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis (must be able to lift more than 50 lbs) Reliable work vehicle Georgia driver's license and good driving record Pass a background check NO smoking or vaping NO alcohol or drug use of any kind Experience with all rough and finish carpentry skills Ability to navigate a smartphone comfortably and learn new software/apps quickly
Tool Requirements:
