Our stunning projects are focused on the beautiful sunny south shore of Kauai. The Journeyman Finish Carpenter assists and reports to the Trim Carpenter Foreman on our luxury homes and is responsible for delivering high-quality finish carpentry work on our exquisite interiors and exteriors.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Trim Carpenter Foreman with all high-end luxury carpentry projects.

Interior / Exterior

Finish and Rough Carpentry. Finish carpentry tasks including door hanging, cabinet installation, and installation of crown molding, baseboard and door casings. Make a variety of building repairs to framing, siding, drywall, decks, flooring and doors. Ensure that all safety measures are taken and adhered to on the construction sites. Job site cleanup, maintenance and organization. Communicate with project manager daily about progress

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Three (3) years of high-end custom luxury home finish carpentry experience required. Experience in remodeling and/or construction. Understanding of construction techniques, from rough to finish, as well as code compliance. Ability to safely operate power hand tools including; a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions without deviating. Proficient Interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read plans. Able to perform physically demanding work including lifting 60+lbs. Must have reliable source of transportation. Work is Mon - Fri | Salary commensurate with
