Job description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in multiple construction-related tasks. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and collaborating effectively with other tradespeople to deliver exceptional results. Duties Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform trim carpentry tasks including the installation of moldings, baseboards, and cabinetry. Conduct water damage restoration to restore affected areas to their original condition. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Frame wood Perform construction painting tasks to finish surfaces according to design specifications. Requirements Proven experience as a carpenter with a comprehensive understanding of carpentry techniques. Proficiency in stucco application, tile laying, plastering, masonry, and trim carpentry. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job site locations.
