Job Description

Skillforce is seeking experienced Carpenters for a short term role in the Iowa City, IA. area. Carpenters in this role would be installing temp plywood for doors and windows on a commercial project. The anticipated schedule for this role is 40+hours a week, and pay is up to $28/hr. depending upon experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Install temp plywood for doors and windows. Ensure work is completed according to building codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of commercial carpentry experience. Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
