Job Description

Renda Building Company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Post Frame Building Fabricator to support our framing crews by preparing building material packages in our warehouse facility. This position plays a key role in keeping field crews productive and prepared by accurately cutting, organizing, and staging materials for upcoming projects. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with lumber and construction materials, takes pride in accuracy and efficiency, and works well in a fast-paced team environment. This position is primarily warehouse-based; however, occasional field work may be required to support framing crews, assist on larger projects, or help fill in during staffing or scheduling needs. Responsibilities Measure and cut lumber and building materials according to project plans Prepare complete material packages for framing crews to install in the field Read and interpret construction drawings, cut sheets, and material lists Organize and label materials for efficient loading and installation Assist with loading and unloading materials and maintaining inventory organization Operate saws, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely Keep warehouse and fabrication areas clean, organized, and production-ready Communicate with Project Managers and field crews regarding material needs or shortages Follow company safety procedures and maintain quality standards Qualifications Construction, carpentry, framing, or warehouse experience preferred Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math Experience using power tools and saws preferred Forklift experience is a plus Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Strong attention to de Ability to work efficiently both independently and with a team What We're Looking For Someone who takes ownership of their work and values accuracy A self-starter who can stay productive without constant supervision Individuals who understand that proper preparation helps crews succeed in the field Team players who value safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship Employees should be comfortable working both in the warehouse and on active construction job sites when needed.
