In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision and safety at every step. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, from metal building erection to intricate wood framing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including commercial, residential, and restoration sites, utilizing your comprehensive carpentry skills and construction knowledge. Duties Erect metal buildings by assembling steel frameworks according to schematics and blueprints Install concrete forms and rebar for foundations and structural elements Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for framing, siding, roofing, and finishing tasks Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials using heavy equipment when necessary Execute masonry work including stucco, plastering, and brick or block laying as required Install siding, trim carpentry components, and perform remodeling or restoration work to enhance building integrity Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean job site Skills Extensive experience in metal building erection and steel framing techniques Proficiency in concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing processes Strong knowledge of construction management principles for coordinating tasks effectively Skilled in masonry work such as stucco application and plastering Ability to operate welding equipment and heavy machinery safely on-site Competence in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation Familiarity with roofing systems, siding installation, woodworking, and trim carpentry Experience with heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and working with hand tools and power tools Excellent understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations Capable of performing heavy equipment operation when required for project needs Join our team to build exceptional structures while advancing your skills in a vibrant construction environment!
