at Aerotek in Cataldo, Idaho, United States Job Description Concrete Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Concrete Carpenter to support multi-family and commercial construction projects with a strong focus on concrete foundations, footings, flatwork, and formwork . This is a hands-on field role responsible for building and setting forms, assisting with concrete pours, finishing concrete surfaces, and supporting daily construction operations on active jobsites. The ideal candidate has strong carpentry and concrete experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and works safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities + Build, install, and strip concrete forms for foundations, walls, slabs, footings, and other structural concrete elements. + Perform concrete carpentry tasks including framing, layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork. + Assist with concrete pours, including preparation, placement, consolidation, and finishing. + Finish concrete surfaces using techniques such as troweling, edging, and smoothing for slabs, walkways, and related flatwork. + Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. + Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively. + Support site preparation, material handling, and general labor activities as needed. + Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, lumber, forms, and construction materials on site. + Work closely with supervisors, carpenters, laborers, and other trades to maintain workflow and productivity. + Maintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with company and jobsite safety standards. + Assist with framing and other carpentry tasks related to commercial and multi-family construction projects. Required Skills & Qualifications + Experience in concrete construction, including foundations, footings, flatwork, and formwork. + Strong carpentry skills with hands-on experience building and setting concrete forms. + Experience with concrete finishing including troweling, edging, and surface finishing. + Ability to read and follow blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications. + Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments. + Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. + Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials throughout the workday. + Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. + Commitment to workplace safety an To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
