Since 1981 we have been a locally owned and operated union glass shop (Local 77). As a Glazier, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, utilizing your expertise in glazing to complete storefront fabrication and installation. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and a passion for creating high-quality work, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Read and analyze plans or layouts to measure and cut glass to specifications. Execute tasks from fabrication to installation with precision and attention to detail Collaborate with fellow glaziers, project managers, and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specification. Provide excellent customer service. Strong knowledge of hand/power tools. Have reliable transportation. Walk, stand, and kneel for long periods of time. Conduct heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Glazier in the construction industry. 5-10 years experince preferred. Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction drawings Strong mechanical aptitude. Strong problem Solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during construction projects Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team
Compensation & Benefits:
