  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Trim Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing interior and exterior trim elements to enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of residential or restoration projects. Your expertise will contribute to creating polished, high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on craftsmanship, problem-solving, and contributing to transformative building projects. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install various trim components including baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trims, cabinets, and wainscoting with precision using hand tools and power tools. Collaborate with framing carpenters and other trades to coordinate installation sequences on construction sites or restoration projects. Assist in framing tasks when needed, including wood framing for interior partitions. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, or related construction roles is preferred, but not required. Willing to train. Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders), and specialized equipment used in carpentry work. Knowledge of construction site safety standards and practices; experience working on diverse construction sites or restoration projects is preferred. Skills in working with materials such as wood and MDF. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights; excellent attention to detail for precise installation work. Additional skills such as cabinetry installation and door hanging are advantageous but not mandatory.
