Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our decking/construction team as a carpenter. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and carpentry tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both hand and power tools. This role requires a hands-on approach to construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The carpenter will play a crucial role in executing tasks related to restoration, remodeling, and general construction. Responsibilities Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks with precision Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities Heavy lifting of decking material Engage in concrete forming for the decking post Participate in fabrication processes for custom projects Collaborate with team members on decking/carpentry projects Experience Candidates should have prior experience in the construction industry with specific skills, including: Building stairs and decks Able to read a measuring tape Basic tool knowledge The ideal carpenter will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results on every project.
