Carpenter Helper

On farms, measure and layout livestock building. Unload materials lay out building components and steel, tin sheets, trusses, and other components for building livestock confinement structures. Build and erect walls and trusses. Lift tin sheets to roof and sheet walls, install doors, and caulk structure. Install and repair feeders, feed tanks and help assemble feed lines. The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers may prepare their own meals. Employer will provide (on a voluntarily basis) transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals. Must be able to lift and carry 80lbs/50yds. Three (3) months of carpentry experience required. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by the employer when applicable.
