Job Summary:

As an Production Assistant/Carpenter at Alpha & Omega Construction, you will play a crucial role in supporting our exterior/interior home improvement projects. You will be involved in various aspects of job site execution, preparation, material handling, and ensuring the overall quality and efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities:

Job Task Execution:

Execute assigned job tasks related to roofing, siding, gutter work, and other exterior projects with a focus on quality and safety.

Schedule Adherence:

Follow the daily job schedule and strive to complete tasks efficiently.

Professional Conduct:

Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with customers and team members on job sites.

Site Preparation & Cleanup:

Ensure work areas are properly prepared before work begins, maintain a clean and organized environment during projects, and perform final cleanup to meet company standards.

Material Handling:

Assist in loading, transporting, unloading, and staging materials at job sites as directed.

Tool & Equipment Management:

Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available for each job and report any damaged or missing items promptly. Assist with basic tool maintenance.

Vehicle Care:

Maintain clean and organized work vehicles. Report any vehicle issues to the Production Lead.

Quality Awareness:

Learn and follow company quality standards to ensure work meets expectations. Assist in final walkthroughs to confirm job completion.

Service Awareness:

Learn about and help promote additional services offered by Alpha & Omega Construction, such as gutters, doors, and windows, when appropriate.

Growth Mindset:

Participate in training and skill development programs and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve.

Team Support:

Contribute to a positive team environment by being accountable and supportive of fellow team members.

Qualifications:

Prior experience with roofing and/or exterior & interior remodel is preferred. A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Punctual and reliable. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry materials and work in various outdoor conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred. A commitment to safety and quality.
