Job Description
Duties:
- Perform metal stud and wood framing, blocking, sheathing and decking
- Install drywall, including cutting, fitting, and securing panels
- Perform fixture installation, such as shelving, cabinets, and countertops
- Restore and repair damaged wooden structures or furniture
- Perform selective demolition
- Install finish trim and casing
- Install siding on buildings, ensuring proper alignment and weatherproofing
- Hang doors and install hardware for proper functionality
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
