Position Overview:
Monroe Restoration is seeking an Experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship. As a Carpenter at Monroe Restoration, you will play a crucial role in the restoration process, working on a variety of projects to repair and rebuild structures damaged by fire, water, or other disasters.
Hourly Pay:
$25 - $30/hr based on experience.

Quarterly Profit Sharing Plan Key Responsibilities:
Structural Repair:
Perform structural repairs and renovations on residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, water, storms, or other disasters.
Finish Carpentry:
Install trim, molding, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry components to restore properties to their pre-loss condition.
Custom Woodwork:
Fabricate and install custom woodwork, including built-in shelves, cabinets, and architectural features, according to project specifications.
Frame Construction:
Construct and repair structural frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs, using a variety of materials and techniques.
Measurements and Layout:
Take precise measurements and accurately layout materials to ensure a proper fit and finish.
Material Selection:
Select appropriate materials for each project based on design requirements, budget constraints, and durability considerations.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure efficient workflow.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Quality Assurance:
Perform quality checks throughout the project to ensure work meets company standards and customer expectations.
Customer Communication:
Communicate effectively with homeowners, property managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or questions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Carpenter in the construction or restoration industry. Proficiency in a wide range of carpentry techniques, including framing, finish carpentry, and custom woodworking. Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and best practices related to carpentry and construction. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a focus on delivering high-quality work. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
