Job Description

Job Summary The Lead Carpenter will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a hands-on leader with extensive experience in various aspects of construction and carpentry. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction teams on-site. Oversee project timelines and ensure all work is completed within schedule. Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks, ensuring precision and quality. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Lead fabrication efforts for custom components, including cabinet installation and door hanging. Conduct heavy lifting tasks as necessary during the construction process. Ensure compliance with safety standards on the construction site at all times. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members in carpentry techniques and safety practices. Skills Strong experience with hand tools, power tools, and various construction equipment. Familiarity with concrete forming, plastering, caulking, stucco application, roofing, siding, and flooring installation. Knowledgeable in restoration techniques including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and remodeling. Competent in reading blueprints and schematics for effective project execution. Experience in metal stud framing, cabinet installation, door hanging, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, CNC operations, assembly processes, and construction painting. Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining a focus on quality workmanship. This position requires a proactive individual who can lead by example while fostering a collaborative work environment.
