Carpenter / Laborer

Overview Join our Mom and Pop, Christian owned Construction company "Christ Builders" as a Carpenter / Laborer and be a vital part of construction and restoration projects that transform spaces and bring visions to life! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. Whether you're experienced in heavy lifting, blueprint reading, or finishing touches like fixture installation, you'll find a rewarding environment where your skills make a real impact. Duties Assist in framing, drywall installation, and woodworking tasks using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise construction work. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, rebar, and equipment safely and efficiently across job sites. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate project execution. Install fixtures including doors, cabinets, siding, and trim carpentry components with attention to detail. Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, and siding installation to meet project specifications. Support restoration efforts such as water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for tasks including caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, electrical wiring support, plumbing rough-ins, and electrical experience. Follow safety protocols on construction sites including heavy lifting procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Support project teams by maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring all materials are organized for efficient workflow. Experience Prior experience in construction site environments with knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or remodeling is highly desirable. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics to interpret project plans accurately. Hands-on experience with hand tools (hammers, saws), power tools (drills, saws), and specialized equipment Knowledge of restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage restoration is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for long work hours. Experience in fixture installation such as cabinetry or door hanging Basic understanding of electrical systems or plumbing is beneficial but not mandatory. Join us to build something meaningful!
