Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Form Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing formwork for concrete structures across a variety of projects. Your expertise will help ensure that concrete forms are accurately built to specifications, safe, and durable, contributing to the successful completion of commercial, residential, and restoration projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and develop your carpentry skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct formwork for concrete structures. Build and assemble formwork using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precise measurements and secure fittings. Install rebar reinforcement within forms according to engineering specifications to strengthen concrete elements. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cranes safely and efficiently on-site. Perform concrete finishing tasks including troweling, smoothing, and sealing surfaces for quality results. Collaborate with team members to execute renovation, restoration, and new construction projects while adhering to safety standards. Conduct heavy lifting and material handling as required for formwork installation and removal. Read schematics and technical instructions accurately to ensure proper framing, metal stud framing, or masonry work is completed correctly. Assist with other carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, stucco application, caulking, roofing support, or flooring installation when needed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and construction machinery confidently. Proven experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning. Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping operations. Knowledge of masonry practices including tile laying and stucco application. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina on demanding job sites. Familiarity with schematics, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, plastering, roofing support systems, and renovation processes. Experience with welding or metal fabrication is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is valued. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience operating heavy equipment is advantageous. Join our team if you're passionate about construction craftsmanship!
