Trim Carpenter Voodoo Woodcraft & Design LLC Marrero, LA Job Details Contract $120 - $240 a day 1 day ago Qualifications Fabrication Teamwork Blueprint specification interpretation Construction plans Residential carpentry Materials handling Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Trim Carpenter or Trim Carpenter Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on residential construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on new construction projects in and around the New Orleans and Southern Louisiana area. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment. All positions are paid with opportunities for growth and skill development. Responsibilities Assist with installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, baseboards, and crown moulding, custom closet and shelving buildouts, install interior doors, and other trim carpentry tasks using hand tools and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project plans Handle heavy lifting and material transportation safely across job sites Support fabrication and assembly of custom components in manufacturing or onsite settings Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment Requirements Prior experience in construction or related fields, such as remodeling or restoration industry experience, is preferred Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and plumbing or electrical systems is a plus Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Join us if you're ready to build your career in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real impact!
