Job Description

Concrete Carpenter Foreman (Working Foreman) Job Description Silverback Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Carpenter Foreman (Working Foreman) to lead and work alongside crews on commercial concrete construction projects throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This position is for a hands-on leader who is willing to actively participate in the work while supervising daily operations. The ideal candidate must have strong experience with concrete formwork, layout, blueprint reading, crew management, and project coordination. Responsibilities Lead and supervise concrete carpentry crews. Work alongside crew members performing concrete carpentry and formwork installation. Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layout information. Perform layout from benchmarks and control points. Build and oversee formwork including Simon Panels, wall forms, edge forms, slabs, sidewalks, ramps, and miscellaneous concrete structures. Plan daily activities and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials. Communicate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and subcontractors. Maintain production, quality, and safety standards. Train and mentor crew members. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of concrete construction experience. Proven experience as a foreman or lead carpenter in commercial concrete construction. Strong blueprint reading and layout skills. Experience with Simon Panels and commercial concrete formwork systems. Ability to lead crews while remaining actively involved in the work. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Valid driver's license required.
Pay:
$65.00 - $70.00 per hour
