Journeyman Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across a variety of projects, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency on every job site. As a key member of our crew, you will bring your expertise in framing, trim, and finish carpentry to deliver exceptional results that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and restoration to new construction, all while honing your craft in a collaborative environment. Duties Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and cabinetry with precision Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete framing, trim work, roofing, siding, and fixture installation Willingness to perform other tasks such as landscaping, light site work and plowing Assist with all general phases of residential remodeling Measure materials accurately and cut or shape wood or other materials accordingly for custom fabrication or repair Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling heavy lifting tasks Requirements Proven experience as a journeyman carpenter with comprehensive knowledge of basic residential code. Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws; power tools including drills and nail guns Strong background in various carpentry disciplines including framing, trim carpentry, roofing, siding, cabinet installation, and window and door installation. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and installation tasks Provide hand tools related to job requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and communication. Valid driver's license preferred; willingness to obtain a DOT medical card. Pay:

$28.00 - $34.00 per hour
