The ideal candidate will assist with framing residential homes, carrying materials, operating basic hand and power tools, and maintaining a safe and organized job site. Experience in residential construction or framing is preferred, but motivated entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Assist with wood framing for residential homes, including walls, floors, roofs, and stairs Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other building materials Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and supervisor instructions Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely Maintain clean and organized job sites Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures Work outdoors in various weather conditions Support carpenters and crew leaders with general labor tasks as needed Qualifications Previous framing or construction experience preferred Ability to use basic hand and power tools Ability to lift 50-100 lbs repeatedly throughout the day Reliable transportation and strong attendance Ability to work well on a team and follow directions Strong work ethic and willingness to learn OSHA certification is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing Comfortable working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Paid time off and holidays (if applicable) Health insurance and retirement benefits (if applicable) Opportunities for advancement and skill development
