401(k) matching Company car Competitive salary Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Just Building Inc. is seeking an experienced Journeyman Lead Carpenter who is skilled in multiple areas of construction and capable of leading crews and managing projects from start to finish. We are looking for a dependable, highly skilled professional who can take ownership of both small and large-scale jobs while maintaining high-quality workmanship and job site efficiency. Position Overview The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on construction experience, strong leadership abilities, and the confidence to run projects independently. This position requires someone who is organized, proactive, and experienced in coordinating crews and daily job site operations. Responsibilities Lead and manage residential and commercial construction projects Supervise and coordinate field crews and subcontractors Perform and oversee carpentry work including: Framing Finish carpentry Cabinet installation Trim work Doors and windows Decks and exterior work Assist with and oversee additional trades including: Drywall Tiling Flooring Painting General remodeling Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed on time Ensure quality control and high standards of workmanship Enforce job site safety procedures and company standards Communicate professionally with clients, inspectors, suppliers, and team members Manage materials, tools, and daily project logistics Qualifications Journeyman-level carpentry experience required Minimum of 5+ years of construction and leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices Proven ability to run jobs independently Experience supervising crews Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Reliable transportation and valid driver's license - Required Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and leadership ability 401K Matching Paid Holidays Paid Sick and Vacation Time Company Truck and Tools Opportunity for advancement within a growing company Supportive team environment Company that values craftsmanship, leadership, and professionalism This position is ideal for a highly experienced carpenter who takes pride in leadership, quality workmanship, and running successful projects from start to finish.
