Minimum 10 years of carpentry experience in residential construction Experience with framing, remodeling, and finish carpentry Able to work independently with minimal supervision Reads and understands plans, layouts, and measurements Knowledge of proper building practices and job site safety Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Ability to problem solve and stay productive throughout the day Reliable transportation to and from job sites (must have a valid drivers license) Must be punctual, professional, and communicate well with team members and clients Framing Experience Required Layout and frame walls Install floor systems and subflooring Frame decks, roofs, stairs, and additions Install LVLs, beams, and headers Sheathing, blocking, and structural framing Window and exterior door installation Ability to work from plans and field measurements Finish Carpentry Experience Required Install interior doors and hardware Baseboard, casing, crown molding, and trim work Cabinet installation Stair trim and railings Punch list and final detail work Ability to produce clean, professional finishes Required Tools Must own basic carpentry hand tools including but not limited to: Tape measure Tool belt Hammer Framing square / speed square Utility knife Chalk line
