We specialize in high-quality renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, custom carpentry, and whole-home remodeling projects. As a growing company, we are looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter who wants more than just a job—we are looking for someone who wants to build a career and grow alongside our company for years to come. Position Overview The Lead Carpenter will play a key role in the successful execution of our residential construction projects, overseeing day-to-day field operations while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, professionalism, and jobsite organization. This position offers a significant opportunity for career growth. Responsibilities Lead and perform all phases of residential construction and remodeling projects. Structural framing of walls, floors, roofs, additions, decks, and renovations. Install and modify structural framing systems, including engineered lumber, LVLs, beams, headers, and load-bearing structural components. Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and layout drawings. Install hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, and other flooring systems. Perform high-quality finish carpentry including trim, crown molding, baseboard, casing, built-ins, and custom millwork. Install kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities, and custom cabinetry systems. Replace and install exterior and interior doors and windows. Perform minor siding, exterior trim, and related finish work. Coordinate material deliveries and maintain project schedules. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite. Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and management. Effectively manage and coordinate apprentices and laborers, ensuring their time and skills are utilized efficiently while helping them develop their trade knowledge and abilities. Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining productivity, quality control, and project timelines. Assist in training, mentoring, and developing future carpenters within the company. Qualifications 5+ years of residential construction and carpentry experience preferred. Strong framing and finish carpentry skills. Experience with structural modifications and engineered framing systems. Experience installing cabinetry and interior finish materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. Strong understanding of residential building practices and safety standards. Proven leadership ability and experience directing others on a jobsite. Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems independently. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. OSHA certification is a plus but not required.
