Forklift Operator Certification Overview:
We are seeking reliable and skilled Carpenters Master and General to support the maintenance and repair of MTA Light Rail facilities across the Baltimore region. This is a hands-on role with a wide variety of tasks across multiple transit properties including stations, shops, and storage buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform carpentry and masonry work (walls, ceilings, stairs, trim, baseboards, doors, sidewalks, etc.) Conduct minor furniture and equipment repairs Paint station amenities and perform graffiti abatement Repair flooring, windows, roofing, gutters, and more Assist with signage installation and removal Operate a forklift to manage and store bulk materials Participate in preventive maintenance inspections and repairs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Required Certifications and Training:
OSHA 10 Certification (Required) Forklift Operator Certification (Required) Must complete Railroad Worker Protection (RWP) training Must complete On Site Coordinator (OSC) training Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
