Carpenters Helper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Helper to assist skilled carpenters and construction professionals in a dynamic construction environment. This role is vital for supporting various phases of building projects, from framing and finishing to restoration and renovation. Responsibilities Support carpenters with framing, trim carpentry, , door hanging, cabinet installation, and fixture installation tasks. Operate hand tools, power tools, , roofing, siding installation, stucco application, and water damage restoration projects. Help with drywall finishing including plastering and caulking; assist in flooring installation and tile laying activities. Contribute to rebar installation, electrical work, plumbing tasks, and masonry as directed by supervisors. Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Experience Previous experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques is advantageous. Experience in restoration industry projects such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus. Knowledge of roofing, siding, drywall finishing, flooring installation, tile work, or cabinetry enhances your candidacy. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions are essential for success in this role.
