Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Finish Carpenter/Installer and bring craftsmanship and precision to a variety of construction and restoration projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality finish carpentry work, including installation, repair, and restoration of interior and exterior features. Your expertise will help transform spaces with attention to detail, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your experience in the construction industry. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, siding, and other finish carpentry components using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to accurately execute installation plans. Install fixtures such as cabinetry, countertops, moldings, and hardware with precision. Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, stucco repair, plastering, and rebar installation when necessary. Handle heavy lifting safely to transport materials and equipment on-site while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects. Skills Extensive experience with construction estimating to accurately determine material needs and project scope. Proficiency in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinetry installation. Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, saws, sanders) for precise craftsmanship. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics to interpret project plans effectively. Experience with concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, flooring installation (tile & wood), siding, and drywall finishing. Ability to perform plumbing or electrical tasks is a plus but not mandatory; familiarity with schematics is essential. Knowledge of the restoration industry including mold remediation, water damage restoration, plastering, stucco repair, and fixture installation. Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards on construction sites. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes across diverse projects.
